Following the resounding success of SENSHI 15, where we witnessed awe-inspiring knockouts and jaw-dropping displays of skill, this new edition promises to deliver even more riveting clashes between elite fighters from across the globe. Thirteen bouts will unfold under the rules of KWU FULL CONTACT, KWU OPEN, and KWU SENSHI, captivating both the audience in the sea capital and those watching from the comfort of their homes. However, the highlight of the night lies in the announcement of the champions who will vie for the prestigious SENSHI European titles.
The organizers of this exceptional fight show guarantee an enticing and colossal fight card, featuring highly trained warriors from Spain, Portugal, Germany, and various other countries. Of course, it goes without saying that the Bulgarian champions will be present, for SENSHI would not be complete without their inspiring presence.
Martial arts enthusiasts flocking to Varna for this grand gala will have the rare privilege of witnessing world-renowned legends and revered trainers up close and personal. The anticipation builds as the countdown begins, and in just a few days, the identities of these remarkable figures will be unveiled.
SENSHI stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, orchestrated in cooperation with the Professional League of the Kyokushin World Union (KWU International Professional League). Their dedication ensures that SENSHI continues to shine as a beacon of excellence in the realm of martial arts.
Among the constellation of exceptional fighters set to grace the stage, one name stands out: LERDSILA, a true titan of Muay Thai. With an illustrious career boasting multiple Muay Thai World championships, WMC Lightweight World titles, and triumphs at the revered Rajadamnern Stadium, LERDSILA’s prowess is unquestionable. Fondly known as Mr. Lightening, this extraordinary fighter possesses an awe-inspiring record of 191 wins, 33 losses, and 5 draws, a testament to his unwavering dedication and unmatched skill.
Another legendary figure who will grace the SENSHI ring is Albert Kraus, a pioneer and trailblazer in the world of kickboxing. As the inaugural K-1 World MAX Tournament Champion in 2002 and the first SUPERKOMBAT Middleweight Champion, Kraus has etched his name in the annals of combat sports history. His accomplishments include four separate world titles in both kickboxing and Muay Thai, exemplifying his versatility and mastery of different disciplines.
Joining the ranks of these phenomenal athletes is the illustrious Andy Souwer. A two-time K-1 World MAX champion and a four-time Shootboxing World champion, Souwer’s dynamic style and explosive power have mesmerized audiences worldwide. Additionally, he holds the Showtime 70MAX World champion and World Muay Thai champion titles, solidifying his status as one of the greatest fighters of his generation.
However, SENSHI 16 is not solely about the international stars. The event pays homage to the homegrown talent that has brought pride to Bulgaria including Shihan Asen Asenov.
