Abu Dhabi Grand Slam returned to Tokyo for the first leg of the 2017-18 season, where over five hundred athletes from all over the world gathered at the Makuhari Messe for a full day of action in different weight and belt categories  Competitors went after their share of over US$125,000 in prizes.
