Three senior LaLiga representatives will be speaking at the Soccerex Asian Forum 2017, 4-5 December, Doha as part of the league’s Global partnership with Soccerex.

Gregory Bolle, Head of Global Partnerships, Nicolas Garcia, Manager, LaLiga Global Network and Fernando Sanz, LaLiga General Director, Middle East & North Africa (MENA) and International Sports Projects will be sharing their expertise on the commercial growth of the league and how their international strategy is guiding their activities across the MENA region.

GrégoryBolle brings with him years of multi-industry experience in both strategy and business development. He is a truly global executive with strong operational and client management experience across Europe, Asia and Middle East.  He assumed key management roles with some of the world’s leading advertising agencies including Carat Aegis, Wunderman, Possible and GroupM before joining the City Football Group in 2014 and then LaLIga in 2016. He studied management at the Paris-Saclay University and at the Tanaka – Imperial College of London.

Nicolas Garcia joined LaLiga in July 2014 as Strategic Projects Coordinator within the Innovation and Global Development department. In November 2014, Nicolas was appointed Manager of LaLiga Global Network, LaLiga’s flagship programme in terms of international development, a position he currently holds. Nicolas holds a B.A. in Architecture (Universidad Politecnica de Madrid) and a master’s degree in SBA Sports Business Administration (Centro de EstudiosGarrigues). Former elite taekwondo athlete, he won the silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Fernando Sanz began his career in football with Real Madrid C.F, who he played for from 1994 to 1999.Among other achievements, Sanz was part of Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League victory in 97/98, Super Cup 97/98, Intercontinental Cup in 1998, and Spanish League victory in 96/97 season. Sanz moved to Malaga C.F. in 1999, where he was team leader of the Andalusian club for 7 seasons. Retiring in 2006, Sanz then became President of Malaga C.F.

Sanz was the first LaLiga Global Ambassador, and he now uses his prior experience of playing and working in Spain in his current role at LaLiga as General Director for Middle East & North Africa and International Sports Projects. His responsibilities include overseeing LaLiga’s strategic approach to broadening their international audience.

Gregory Bolle will be speaking alongside other senior league representatives on a panel entitled “The League Business” looking at the principles required to grow a leagues fan bases and commercial revenues both domestically and internationally. Fernando Sanz and Nicolas Garcia will be part of session dedicated to LaLiga’s international business strategy and what the league is doing to engage fans across the MENA region.

These sessions are part of a diverse programme of insight panels and presentations focused on the development of the football industry in Asia, tackling topics ranging from tournament delivery and digital fan engagement to maximizing elite player performance.
