Cris Cyborg recently beat Yana Kunitskaya via TKO in the first round in the main event of UFC222. There has been a lot of speculating, if Amanda Nunes manages to beat Raquel Pennington in Rio De Janeiro, there is a superfight between Cyborg and Nunes on the cards, most probably in Las Vegas during UFC International Fight Week.
“I will let my manager decide when and where my next fight will be, I just keep training, but I have told the UFC I am willing to fight Amanda, my manager is trying to make this fight happen”
UFC’s Cris Cyborg, who is considered the greatest female fighter of all time, promoted her first MMA Event in Colombo, Brazil on 7th April, along with her co-promoter Rafael Justino entitled Nacao Cyborg
Cyborg who successfully Co Promoted California’s first CAMO Female Amateur State MMA Championships last year with GETDOWN FIGHTS, was able to get her first event on Television throughout Southern California with a partnership through KDOC LA.
“It was a great turn out and the city of Colombo really accepted the event as the host city. The fight card featured Rizin FF veteran Alison Vicente, Curitiba favorite Fabio Silva and undefeated female bantamweight prospect Melissa Gatto. There are immediate plans for two more events in Colombo.”
The Sports Journal reported last week that there have been negotiations and initial talks, for a rematch between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, except this time in the UFC Octagon with ‘modified rules’.
Some of rules discussed were: no kicks, no elbows, no take downs, 4 ounce gloves, with 5-five minute rounds and without shoes.
