WTA Croatian Bol Open have signed an exclusive agreement with sports media company QYU, Inc., which is formed under the umbrella of DANTANI, Inc. Sports LTD, to distribute the tournament’s TV and media rights service for the next three seasons.
Under the terms of the deal, QYU, Inc. will take over global licensing responsibilities for the Croatian tournament’s international programme block, including all matches, press conferences, and behind-the-scenes programming, as well as archive features.
Croatian Bol Open chief executive Feliks Lukas said: “Increasing engagement with our fans is key to the tournament’s continued growth within the region. Providing fans access to the tournament around the world is an important element of this and we are pleased to be working with QYU, Inc. to maximise our international reach.
Omar Al Raisi, founder & CEO at QYU, Inc., added: “We have strategized to focus our efforts across rights licensing, media management, content creation, and digital distribution to expand into untapped markets globally while raising overall revenue across traditional broadcast and OTT platforms.”
