Al Wasl came from behind to beat Emirates 3-1 at the Zabeel Stadium. The visitors stunned the crowd at Zabeel Stadium when Mohamed Malalla’s attempted shot was flicked on by teammate AbdelghaniMouaui into the path of Sebastian Sacha who was well-positioned to finish past Al Wasl’s Sultan Al Manthari and put The Falcons ahead 11 minutes into the match.

Wasl responded within three minutes as Fabio de Lima curled in a shot from outside the box. The Brazilian’s strike crept under goalkeeper Ali Saqr and into the far corner to bring the hosts level.

Caioscored a header from a Ronaldo Mendes’ cross in the 54th minute to hand Al Wasl the lead.

Brazilian Fabio de Lima finished the game off with a diving header for his second goal of the night.

The 3-1 victory takes Al Wasl to four points from two games while Emirates remain with only a point.
