HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and President of Al Jazira Sports Club, called the UAE football fans to support Al Jazira Team in the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017.
He said hosting the FIFA CWC 2017, and 2018 here in the UAE is of a highly great value for the support and development of UAE sport sector in terms of hosting, organizing, and infrastructure aspects.
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed reiterated that this event is just another achievement that will cement positioning the UAE as a global hub for world-class sport events and championships.
Al Jazira team won its debut game in the FIFA Club World Cup championship when they took on Auckland City of Oceania on 6 December 2017 at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain City. They will play Urawa Red Diamonds, who are the Asian Champions today, 9 December 2017.
