The official Mascot of the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017 was unveiled to the public by the tournament’s Local Organizing Committee (LOC) on Tuesday, 27 June, in Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi. The launch event gave fans the unique opportunity to be the first to meet the official Mascot and test their football skills at the Mobile Roadshow Experience to win fantastic prizes.
The FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017, which takes place from 6-16 December, treated football fans to a four-day celebration of the beautiful game from 27 June to 1 July. The FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017 roadshow – nicknamed Excitement – was located in Yas Mall.
“We have a lot of exciting surprises for football fans, children and the public next week in celebration of Eid,” said His Excellency Aref Hamad Al Awani, Tournament Director of the LOC. “The FIFA Club World Cup UAE’s four-day festival will have something on offer for everyone; from children, who will enjoy meeting the official Mascot for the first time, to adults with a competitive streak who want to measure their football skills at the roadshow.”
The largest and first-of-its-kind mobile roadshow in the region will be open to the public from 12 noon to 22:00 daily, providing visitors with the perfect platform to show off their football skills across 12 different adrenaline-pumping challenges. All participants will have the opportunity to win amazing prizes and join hundreds in welcoming back the famous UAE Mascot.
Football fans can now buy tickets to the pinnacle of club football – the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017 – via FIFA.com/uae2017. Seven club champions will come together to claim the ultimate title as millions around the world tune in to watch. Real Madrid C.F., Auckland City FC, C.F. Pachuca and four other champions will come together to compete in eight title-deciding matches in the Zayed Sports City and Hazza Bin Zayed stadia.
In order to cater to every fan’s needs, there are a variety of different ticket types available on FIFA.com/UAE 2017 – Category 1, 2 and 3, Corporate Hospitality and Private Boxes are available upon request. Visa is the preferred payment method of the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017.
