Stage one of the specialized sports media training course, organized by the Pro League Committee in collaboration with the UAE FA Academy, was concluded on Thursday, October 12th at Al Jazira Club in Abu Dhabi. As released onAGL website
This course is part of a series of specialized training courses offered for clubs’ employees in the fields of sports administration, marketing, media, sports events and facilities management.
At the end of the course, students received their stage one (C) certificates in the presence of PLC’s Chief Corporate Services Officer Musaab Al Marzouqi and Club Licensing and Development Director Hamad Al Junaibi.

The training course continues with stage 2 taking place in February 2018 at Sharjah Club and concludes with stage 3 at the UAE FA academy in Dubai in April 2018.
The media-training course aims to educate attendees about the latest advances in sports media and provide clubs’ employees with the knowledge. And experience to run media and public relations departments in clubs and sport institutions. The course, which also discusses the role of the media manager, includes various aspects related to the importance of sports media and methods of developing mechanisms for media to play its role in supporting work inside clubs and sport institutions.

The sports media training comes as part of the PLC’s efforts to develop and qualify professional clubs’ cadres in various fields to contribute to the progress of clubs’ management and instil the culture of professionalism. The courses are offered by the PLC in collaboration with the UAE FA Academy, which works in partnership with leading academies across the world such as the United States Sports Academy (USSA) and the Professional Football Scouts Association (PFSA).
