8 Emirati Marshals participated actively in Azerbaijan F1 and the FIFA Confederations Cup held recently in Azerbaijan and Russia.
The Emirati Marshals participated in Azerbaijan F1 Grand Prix building on their accumulative experiences in sharing in the organizing of various F1 Grand Prix championships.
Emirati Marshals started working in F1 events since Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix 2009.
The 8 members acted very effectively at Azerbaijan F1 Grand Prix in different types of work especially with the medical team, the media team, the rapid intervention team, and technical check-up teams.
The 8 members received wide and warm thanks and appreciation from the organizers of Azerbaijan F1 Grand Prix 2017.
In the same respect, and building on their experiences of working in many FIFA events held in the UAE, another group of Emirati Marshals participated actively as volunteers in the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017, held in Russia in June – July 2017.
The Emirati Marshals took part in the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 in Russia as they prepare to share in the organizing of FIFA Club World Cup 2017 that will take be in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain in December this year,
HE ArefHamad Al Awani, General Secretary of ADSC lauded the Emirati Marshals for their role in Azerbaijan F1 Grand Prix, and the FIFA Confederations Cup saying: “We are really very proud of the Emirati Marshals as they are reflecting the huge capabilities and potentials of Emirati youths.”
Al Awani thanks the Emirati Marshals for what they do; emphasizing what they do at major international sport championships and events reflects the capabilities of UAE people.
