Dubai – In line with transparency, governance and disclosure, Dubai Sports Council announces the sports clubs’ budgets for the year 2018 as follows:
Dubai International Marine Club: AED 36 million
Al Wasl Club: AED 80 million
Al Nasr Club: AED 50 million
Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Club: AED 135 million
Hatta Club: AED 30 million
Victory Team: AED 15 million
Dubai Club for People of Determination: AED 11 million
Dubai Chess Club: AED 3,375,490
Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Club’s budget has become AED 135 million as a result of merging the 3 clubs’ budgets: Al Ahli Club, Al Shabab Club & Dubai Club
Dubai Sports Council also confirms that the budgets announced for sports clubs for the year 2018, represents only the value of government support to the clubs and do not represent the full budgets of each club. The budgets are greater than the budgets announced by Dubai Sports Council, but the clubs should provide the required budgets needed to carry out programs & cover their expenditure that exceed the value of official government support budgets, by activating the investment side of the assets of the club and sponsorship contracts.
Dubai Sports Council affirms that this approach is the way for the clubs to adopt their own resources and activate the investment aspects.
