As released by Arabian Gulf League, Goals from Rayan Yaslam and Caio Fernandes helped Al Ain to the summit of the Arabian Gulf League with a 2-0 victory over Emirates in matchweek 5 at Emirates Club Stadium.
After a spell when Emirates and Al Ain failed to find opportunities in the absence of starmen Sebastian Saez and Omar Abdulrahman respectively, young Yaslam broke the deadlock for the visitors after a long ball from defence was headed on by Marcus Berg towards Yaslam, who then combined with Berg on the edge of the box and shot past Ahmed Al Shaji to put Al Ain in front with six minutes to go in the first half.

Berg was once again involved in the build up to the second goal, receiving the long pass and shooting towards goalkeeper Al Shaji who failed to react with the ball well. His save parried the ball straight to Caio who tapped in to seal a win for The Boss six minutes from time.
