PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One players will have the opportunity to trial the game from tomorrow when Konami releases the new PES 2018 Demo.Unlike their FIFA 18 rivals, PES bosses revealed their demo announcement at Gamescom 2017 last week and players will be able to jump into it TOMORROW, August 30.
Unfortunately, Konami has yet to detail what time the demo will be released, however, a representative for the game has confirmed to Express Online that it’s “in the hands of the respective platform holders.”
According to the Express, “PlayStation owners can expect the demo to go live at around 11am UK time on PS4 and PS3.”
But there’s no word on a launch time for Xbox 360 or Xbox One users.
When it does go live, however, there will be two stadiums to sample, Barcelona’s Camp Nou and Borussia Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park, while exhibition and co-op are available in the demo.
In addition, there will be two modes to enjoy, exhibition and a new multiplayer mode called CO-OP, which will be available in the demo. There’s no Online portion of the demo, but then Konami already ran a PES 2018 Online Demo a few weeks back.
As for the teams on offer, players can choose from Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, Inter Milan, SC Corinthians, CR Flamengo, Boca Juniors, River Plate and Colo-Colo.
There’s also a selection of international teams to pick from, such as Germany, Brazil and Argentina.
The PES 2018 demo will be a great way for fans of the game to pass the time ahead of the September 14 release date for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Konami say they’ve really stepped up with improving the graphics of the game this year, using their new “REAL Capture system” to help make every element of the game – from the turf to player tattoos – even more lifelike than ever before.
Bosses at Konami have promised that PES 2018 will feature “more new additions than any other PES title in the last 10 years”
And earlier this year Masami Saso, President of Konami Digital Entertainment said:
“PES 2018 is a title that finds the series at the very top of its game,”
“It is a game that builds on the foundations of the resurgent series and has taken on board requests from our growing fanbase.
“It is also a game with an eye on the future. As eSports continue to develop as a worldwide force, PES 2018’s inclusion of a dedicated PES LEAGUE mode removes any barrier to entry to die-hard fans and newcomers alike.
“KONAMI is committed to breaking new ground with the PES series, and PES 2018 sees us enter the field more confident and determined to excel than ever.”
